Action: Carminative, stimulant, antiseptic and antispasmodic; local anaesthetic and rebufacient. |
Use
in Ayurveda: In various forms of gastric irritability, colic, dyspepsia and to increase the flow of saliva. Also used in toothaches by stuffing the painful dental cavities with cotton with a drop or two of clove oil. It helps digestion and kills germs which may create digestive system disorders. |
